Trust in the LORD with all your heart

God always keeps his promises.

"[Jesus Christ] isn't one to say yes' when He means no.' He always does exactly what He says. He carries out and fulfils all of God's promises, no matter how many of them there are; and we have told everyone how faithful He is, giving glory to His name." II Corinthians 1:19-20

God never takes back or changes His promises.

"No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back one word of what I said." Psalm 89:34

None of God's promises ever fail.

"You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed." Joshua 23:14

Reliability is a part of God's character.

"For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all He does." Psalm 33:4

"God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" Hebrews 13:5

In a world where it seems that the only thing that counts is one's personal values and how one feels about an issue, does the Bible speak about absolutes?

"The Lord is gracious and compassionate. The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. They are steadfast forever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness. Psalm 111:4,7,8

 Does God ever change?

"For I am the Lord, I do not change" Malachi 3:6

 Will God's word ever change?

Your testimonies are very sure; Holiness adorns Your house, O LORD, forever.  Psalm 93:5

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." Matthew 24:35

 God can do the impossible.

"Jesus replied, 'What is impossible with men is possible with God.'" Luke 18:27

He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:3-4)

O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. (Isaiah 25:1)

And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember that everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. --Genesis 9:16

But because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. “Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

--Deuteronomy 7:8-9

You have dealt well with Your servant, O LORD, according to Your word. --Psalm 119:65

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. --1 Corinthians 10:13

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. --II Peter 3:9
